Cor Christi Trinitate - The Nobility of Humility
Cor Christi is a new work in the Church. It's mission is for its members to form a Monastic Enclosure of the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus in their hearts, and then bring Jesus into the world. It aims to transform the "Poverty of Affluence", that is, the spiritual bankruptcy that occurs in western society because of the materialism that is rampant in our age. Cor Christi focuses on evangelizing those in positions of leadership, including those in government, law, business, medicine, science, and the other professions. It is our belief that holy leaders will cause others to be brought to the love of Jesus and Mary.
The model for Cor Christi is the Mass - Christ's ongoing work of salvation through the re-presentation of the sacrifice of the Cross on Calvary. Cor Christi members yearn to abandon themselves completely to the will of the Father and witness the "Joy of the Cross" in their lives.
A fundamental aspect of the Cor Christi life is the "overlay of hearts". We place our hearts into the Heart of Mary, who places her Heart into that of Jesus. Jesus places His Heart into that of the Father and, ultimately, the Trinity. This Overlay of Hearts brings us into intimate union with God, so that we can understand and do His Divine Will.
The basis for Cor Christi are "the dialogues". The dialogues are teachings from Christ that are received by the Founder/Director, Msgr. George E. Tracy. Cor Christi is unfailingly loyal to the Pope and the Magisterium of the Roman Catholic Church, and its development is being guided directly by Vatican officials.
